The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh is the administering authority for primary and secondary level education in the State. The department has the following objectives-
Make education available to all children in the age group of 5 to 15 years.
Make sure the admission of children in school.
Make sure that children shall not drop out from school.
Ensure the minimum quality standard of education in the state.
